Company Boasts of a More Robust Team of Professionals

Padilla and Company, with its commitment of providing its clients with the best team they can work with, has reinvented itself once again by hiring and promoting only the best and the brightest in the industry.

Maricel Lo was appointed Partner of the firm January this year. Ms. Lo graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of St. La Salle Philippines and placed 6^th in the CPA licensure exam in the Philippines. She recently got her New York CPA license September last year and proves to be one of the firm’s assets in the areas of government audits and compliance review engagements. Before joining the company, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers Manila and New York for a total of 7 years.

Miriam Lopez has been promoted to Audit Senior. She has passed all the New York CPA licensure exams last May, 2007 and received here New York CPA license last January. She joined the company December of 2007.

Lenard Ibadlit, Senior Auditor, has already passed 3 of the 4 parts New York CPA licensure exams while Paolo Espiritu, Audit Supervisor and IT Administrator, has passed 2 of the exams.

Padilla and Company, despite the economic recession felt throughout New York, continues to grow and provide employment to promising professionals who will contribute not only to the organization but to the industry as well.

Albert Chan, Gale Pagaran, Joel Baclit, Raphael Hernandez and Manish Gera have just recently joined the organization.

Chan used to work with another CPA firm and has done various audits, reviews and compilation engagements. He holds a bachelor degree in Accounting from the State University of New York in Buffalo and has passed the New York CPA examination.

Pagaran used to work with UBS Fund Services in Cayman Islands as a Fund Accountant. She also worked with KPMG Orlando and Ernst and Young Manila. She has passed 3 of the 4 part CPA licensure exams. She has been appointed Audit Supervisor when she joined the company last January.

Baclit holds a Masters in Business Administration degree from Keller Graduate School of Management in Long Island City, New York. He is Certified Information Systems Auditor. His technical expertise in IT and accounting puts the firm in a competitive position to tackle new avenues of growth. He joined the company March this year.

Hernandez recently completed his Bachelor Degree in Accounting in Berkeley College in White Plains, New York. He used to be an intern in UBS Financial Services in White Plains. He joined the company last February as Junior Auditor.

Gera is the newest addition to the strong Padilla team. He used to work with H&R Block preparing individual and corporate taxes. He has passed all of the 4-part CPA licensure exams.
