Our personnel are continually attending in-house training and seminars to stay abreast of changing principles, pronouncements and standards in accounting and auditing, such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) pronouncements and interpretations, Generally Accepted Auditing and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards and Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS).

Our in-house seminars are conducted under the supervision of our Managing Partner, who was a part-time CPA Reviewer and a former adjunct professor at The New School, New York University, C.W. Post, Pace University, and Queens College and is currently an adjunct professor at The CUNY York College School of Accountancy.

Our staff members also attend seminars that are authorized and accredited by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and other CPE providers.

Senior Supervisors / Audit Seniors

Our firm has six (6) senior supervisors and two (2) audit seniors with many years of diverse experience in accounting and auditing. All of them graduated with Bachelors Degree in Accounting and hold a CPA certificate in the Philippines. One of them is a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), another one is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and another one majored in engineering and at the same time has a California CPA Certificate.

Audit Staff

The firm has a pool of audit staff and interns that assists in the various accounting and auditing engagements of the firm. They are also called upon to work on taxation services as well as special consulting projects. The audit pool has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and holds a CPA certificate from the Philippines. One of them passed the uniform CPA exams in New York and is completing the experience requirements required by New York State.

Their exposures in our firm include the various audits in government and not-for-profit, CIRA audits, A-133 audits, reviews and compilations, taxation services and management consulting projects.
