Jose Paolo Espiritu, a member of the company's management team, has received his license as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. Mr. Espiritu is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor. He has been with the company since 2007 and has risen from the ranks due to his strong knowledge in audit and information technology. Before joining Padilla and Company, he was a Grants Management Accountant in the Save the Children Alliance Network. He also used to work as a senior associate in BDO Alba Romeo (a member firm of BDO International) back in the Philippines. Now that he's a New York CPA, his contributions to the firm will prove more valuable as ever before.

Minority and Women-owned Companies large and small are Giants at National Minority Business Council 31st Annual Awards Ceremony

From $3.8 billion World Wide Technology, Inc. to relatively new start-up organizations and not-for-profits, entrepreneurs in aviation, technology, higher education, office support services, accounting, import/export, advertising specialties and other industries converged at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square to be honored by the National Minority Business Council ( for their accomplishments as minority and women-owned businesses, February 24th.

David L. Steward, Chairman of the Board of World Wide Technology accepted the award on behalf of the company he co-founded in 1990. During the St. Louis-based company’s first year of business it did nearly $900,000 in sales. But it marked its 20th anniversary, FY 2010 with $3.8 billion in sales. Despite the still weak economy, Steward struck an upbeat note upon accepting his award, saying, “This is a great country in which we live and the opportunities for entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation remain great.”
